Hello VAA!
For this week's meeting we have our very own Charles Teclaw will be giving a talk on Pascal's Wager. We will be meeting at 7pm this Thursday, October 19, in room New Cabell 044. Here's the blurb:
Pascal’s Wager is one of the more common arguments used to justify belief in a creator. It claims that analyzing the odds proves that belief is better than disbelief. However, a closer look at the statistics shows that belief is on average a disadvantage.
Afterwards, we will also have a discussion and will potentially go to the corner.
Hope to see you there!
