Hello ungodly brethren!

There's a lot happening this week, so get excited!

The holiday season is starting early this year! First, this week's meeting will be tomorrow at 7pm in New Cabell 044. In this meeting we will be talking about the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah. Cynthia DiPaula will be teaching us about the historical and cultural context of this holiday. We will have the opportunity to partake in some of the traditions of Rosh Hashanah such as saying what you were thankful for this year and eating fresh apples and honey to welcome a sweet new year!

Also, I saw a chalking today that said:

" Is Christianity Rational?

Thurs 6pm, New Cabell 368"

Very mysterious. This sounds interesting, so I think I'll be going. You guys should too! It's right before the VAA meeting and in the same building!

Lastly, the Christian Study Center is having another of the bi-weekly Faith and Science discussions this Friday at 4-5pm. The building is at 128 CHANCELLOR STREET  CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA  22903. This week's discussion is on an address given by Ian Hutchinson, who is a christian physicist at MIT. The transcript of the address is attached to this email. All of you are welcome to join the discussion even if you don't have time to read the transcript.
