This Thursday at 7:00pm in New Cabell 383, we'll have a guest lecture by Professor Matt Hedstrom of the Department of Religious Studies. Professor Hedstrom specializes in the study of religion in America, and teaches the course "Spiritual But Not Religious": Spirituality in America. The title and description of his talk are as follows.

Title: Why Is Spirituality So Hot Right Now?
Description:  What does “spiritual but not religious” mean, and why has it become such a pervasive self-description in contemporary America? And how does spirituality relate to agnosticism and atheism?
