Hey VAA,

This week we'll be taking a look at the social, rather than theoretical, aspects of atheism and religion. This Thursday at 7:00pm we'll be meeting in New Cabell 383 to discuss whether atheism is becoming more "normal," more socially acceptable, or some such. We will analyze some data from the Pew Research Center, some historical highlights from the "New Atheist" movement, and also our own lived experiences as nonreligious people in order to assess this question.
