This Thursday at 7:00pm, we will be meeting in New Cabell 485, where fellow VAAer Charles Teclaw will be leading us in a discussion. Here's his abstract:

Are we in a simulation? This question has been in the sphere of popular culture for decades, and with good reason. It is similar to the Cartesian quandary of whether anything at all exists. We will discuss whether we could really be in a simulation, what form that might take, and how that could affect our perception of a creator.

We plan to have an excursion to IHOP after the meeting! Come join us!
