Hey VAA,

I'm super excited to announce that our guest speaker for this week will be Professor Shankar Nair. He's an expert on Muslim-Hindu relations, and his talk will be on faith and reason/rationality in Islamic thought. He's a really engaging lecturer, so I would definitely recommend attending. The meeting will be at 7:00 Thursday in New Cabell 132. There will be a Q&A afterward if you have any questions for Professor Nair.

Last time we had food in New Cabell, we got in trouble, so for anyone wondering there will ABSOLUTELY NOT be pizza at this lecture. Jk, there will be pizza. Please don't report us, pizza gods.

This Friday, come picnic with me on the Lawn! I'll have board games and what little bit of food I can smuggle out of Runk. I'll be there from 12:00-2:00, so you should totally stop by if you have time between classes.

Saturday we're going apple picking at Carter's Mountain Orchard. Meet in front of Thornton Hall at 3:00 PM if you'd like to go, and please bring your car if you're able to drive some of us there.
