Hi all,

We have Frank Bellamy, VAA and UVA law school grad, coming this week to speak about an upcoming Supreme Court case! The meeting will be in New Cabell 485 at 7pm on Thursday. Here's the blurb:

I will be talking about an upcoming Supreme Court case on government funding of religion, Trinity Lutheran v. Pauley. I will begin with the history of the relevant law, discuss the case, and open the floor for questions and discussion.

We've had interesting discussions in previous semesters when Frank has spoken at VAA, and with the Supreme Court in the news recently, this should be another one. I hope to see you there!

Here are two announcements:
1) We are planning a low-key picnic/frisbee gathering for this weekend (probably Saturday afternoon). I'll send out an email when the logistics have been sorted out.

2) Next week's meeting will be on a Wednesday (3/30)!
