Hey everyone, 

Here's a little hook for my first solo art show coming up this Friday. It's from my experiences last semester in Cuba, and it tries to challenge common knowledge creation and dogma in socialist and democratic political systems! Please consider attending :)

Decadence in Havana, Cuba: A Photo Essay 

"Decadence" is a darkroom-processed photo essay shot in Havana Cuba over the course of four months during the Spring of 2015. Made up of 15 images, the work strives to communicate the state of social infrastructure and living conditions in modern, urban Cuba so as to raise questions about common conversations addressing the virtues and atrocities of capitalist and socialist societies. 

Please join us for the opening of this show on Friday, December 4th on the 3rd floor of Ruffin. We'll be open and serving food from 5-7 PM, so swing by.
