Hey VAA,

I hope everyone is decompressing after a very busy week. I'm writing to remind everyone who has signed up for the hike tomorrow that we will be meeting outside of Thornton Hall at 9 AM.

There is a great chance that it will rain tomorrow (especially between the hours of 9 and 10)! Please bring a rain jacket and proper footwear. If it is thundering in the morning, keep an eye out for an e-mail from me around 8:30 AM (we don't want to postpone the hike, but we also don't want to endanger anyone).

If you have decided that you don't want to do the hike tomorrow for whatever reason, please remove your name from the googledoc. We do have some people that would like to come in your stead.

Otherwise see this message from our president Scott about a great opportunity to partner with the Trinity Fellows:

Here's an opportunity to have a regular conversation with a Christian on the topic of belief. If this interests you, email Scott () ASAPif you haven't already. The detailed blurb: "The Trinity Fellows are college graduates who come spend a year in Charlottesville in a program designed to help them think through the relationship of their faith to the rest of life. They live with host families, work three days a week in area businesses or non-profits, work with the youth at Trinity Presbyterian Church, and take a few classes. One class they take this semester requires these “Trinity Fellows” to have a weekly conversation with someone who is not a Christian. The idea is to discuss differences of belief, not to evangelize. The problem is that many of these Fellows are from out of town, so they don’t have many acquaintances or friends (Christian or non-Christian) at this point. This could be an excellent opportunity to connect these Christians with conversation partners in the VAA. At this point there are six Fellows who have expressed interest. Would there be any VAAers who would be willing to commit to a weekly conversation with a Fellow? The first conversation in each case would need to take place sometime before a week from this Thursday."

Can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces tomorrow morning ! Don't forget a water bottle!

 Kylie
