Hello VAA,

This week, we will be featuring a professor from the philosophy department here at UVa. Trenton Merricks, who some of you may know from Philosophy of Religion or Metaphysics classes will be giving a talk on the Epistemology of Religious Beliefs.*

He will be speaking to us as a Christian defending his own personal views, and has expressed interest in getting a discussion going-so be sure to bring questions if you are so inclined.

Please join us at:
        New Cabell Hall 323,
        this Thursday (9/25)
        from 7-8pm.

Feel free to bring any friends who may be interested!

Also, keep a lookout for announcements regarding sign-ups for the VAA camping trip happening in November, and stick around afterwards if you want to take advantage of tomorrow's IHOP student discount with fellow VAAers.

Sincerely,
Your-Rebellion-Squashing-President

*Epistemology is a word which Google defines as: "the theory of knowledge, especially with regard to its methods, validity, and scope. Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion." Read more about it here :: http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/epistemology/
