Also, be sure to check out this survey! It'll take about 10-15 minutes and you'll be helping this student understand our thinking:
My name is Shenae McCoy and I am a fourth year sociology major and I am conducting research for a sociology class this semester. Shelby Howard referred me to you since I am looking to sample students from the atheist/agnostic student population. I think it's important to learn about all types of students even in the religious aspect. It's a new class offered this semester called Love, Sex, and Sociology. Overall, I am studying the social culture, relationships, and the connectivity of atheist/agnostic/freethinker students at UVa. Also, if you know any other atheist students that you think may be interested in this study do you think you can refer me to some? Do you think you can pass this along to your group? In order to complete this study, I will need some interviews and and surveys. All survey responses will be kept confidential and survey should only take about 10 -15 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey there is a section about completing an additional component of the study, an interview. If you should decide to complete an interview with me they are confidential, voluntary, and used only for academic purposes. Also, they will last about 45 minutes -1 hour in the place of your choice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. The link for the survey is below:
See you tomorrow!
