Hey Everyone,
Tonight's meeting we will be hearing from Kseniya, who is giving a presentation about religion in the work of the famed Russian author, Fyodor Dostoyevsky. You might recognize his major works such as Crime and Punishment and The Brothers Karamazov, which "explore human psychology in the troubled political, social and spiritual context of 19th-century Russia." (Wiki)
Though a forerunner of existentialism, Dostoyevsky's relationship to religion is not entirely clear.
So, come join us for a great talk and a cold winter (we're going to Russia folks.)
Meeting Details: New Cabell 323, Tues 4/2, 7:00 P.M.
Additionally, here is an interesting event happening today:
'Religious Liberty and the Culture Wars,' with Professor Douglas Laycock
Tuesday, April 2, 4:30 p.m., Caplin Pavilion at the Law School
Sincerely,
John Kubinski
