Greetings Everyone!
The University of Mary Washington (Fredericksburg, VA) is pleased to announce a free one-day conference on Wednesday, March 13th, titled “Evolving Practices: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Stalking on College Campuses.” The Stalking Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center (SPARC) will provide information on stalking, identifying behaviors, recognizing the prevalence and dynamics of stalking, risk assessment, safety planning, use of technology, documenting, investigating, etc.
The training will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. This conference best suits professionals working directly with college students, including Title IX, law enforcement, student conduct, victim advocates, counselors, non-profit agencies, etc. While this conference is free, pre-registration is required. I’ve attached the flier to this email – please feel free to share it!
