This is a reminder that our next session of ECHO@edu: Campus Violence Prevention is this week, Thursday, June 8th from 10:30am – 12:00pm. If you have not yet registered you can register here. Be on the lookout for a reminder email from Zoom.
Cynthia Burwell, Sheila A. Ward, and Tammy Johnson from Norfolk State University will be leading us through a case presentation to discuss closing the communication gaps between prevention staff and response staff and creating and maintaining a sense of community across the institution following an incident of sexual or intimate partner violence. Then, Adam Dodge, Founder of Ending Tech-Enabled Abuse (EndTAB), will lead a didactic presentation about modern dating safety and will discuss how anyone can navigate common risks including impersonation/catfishing, recruiting, dating app stalking and more. If you plan to attend, we ask for your full participation in order to make this space as valuable as possible for all in attendance (that is what makes ECHO clinics so unique and insightful!).
