Hi folks,

I agree with Rachel and the folks who suggested a respondent advocate.

That university should have two advocates, one to serve survivors and others to serve accused/perps.

Having one person serve both is messy. I recognize TIX technically serves both; however, when I think of hiring this would definitely make some folks *not* apply if they knew they would have to support perps/accused.

We do not want to provide poor services to survivors just to say we are serving both parties. I say poor services because I imagine in many cases it would be difficult to find someone who would be willing and able to serve both and do it well.
