As the year comes to a close, we wanted to make sure you have these upcoming 2023 events on your calendars:

 

• Join us for our 2023 ECHO clinics! ECHO@edu: Campus Violence Prevention is hosted bimonthly on Thursdays at 10:30AM-12:00PM EST on Zoom. Attached you will find an informational flyer that you can share with your colleagues. • We are hosting an informal, virtual opportunity for individuals working at Virginia colleges and universities to discuss sexual health education. We’re hoping to learn more about how folks are handling sexual health education on their campuses, if at all. If you are interested in exploring sexual health promotion as a strategy for violence prevention, consider joining us for this conversation! • We are in the process of updating materials for our Red Flag Campaign (http://www.theredflagcampaign.org/), a public awareness campaign focused on the education and intervention of intimate partner violence on college campuses. We are seeking student insight and need your help recruiting! We are hosting virtual focus groups on Thursday, February 9^th and February 16^th @ 4:00-5:30PM for students ages 18-24. Students who attend will be paid for their time. If you would like more information or have students who would like to sign up, please email us at
• The National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) is offering a virtual Campus Advocacy Training. This live training academy starts on January 11^th, 2023. Applications are due December 15^th, 2022. Find more information here: https://www.trynova.org/nova-campus-program/ncat/
