I would like to know if any campus IPV/ SAP programs fall under the campus police supervision?
Not asking if program office is physically located in the police dept. but does the VAW SAPC staff fall under the campus police?
My program has been under Campus police for years. My Office is located confidentially in the student Center. This has been effective for me due to the constant collaboration with Law Enforcement (LE) on and off campus.
Naturally LE is only contacted by me if a student wishes. However every student that contacts LE are offered the opportunity to communicate with me first.
