Dear friend of Sexual Citizens/SPACE toolkit enthusiast,
We have some exciting news! We are applying for a grant that would provide funds for four schools to do a supported beta-test of the SPACE toolkit. The grant would pay for each participating school to have a Columbia master’s level student do part-time remote project management. The students would also scaffold an ongoing conversation among the four schools using the toolkit, to the extent that that felt useful.
The goals would be to assess feasibility of SPACE toolkit, to learn how much staff support time is required to use the toolkit, to gather some process data, and to see what happens when schools use the toolkit. All building towards eventual impact research, plus giving schools a better idea of what they need in staff time to use the toolkit to make change.
We plan to select partner schools by July 1, and the grant is due July 19th. For the actual grant submission, we’d need a letter of support from each participating school. So...
