Hi Folks,

I am cross posting to get the word out there.  I would be so grateful if you could please share this job posting with your networks!  Please help us to find dedicated, trauma-informed counselors to join our team.

About the position: The Sexual Harm Acute Response & Empowerment (SHARE) Advocates in BWell Health Promotion provide confidential, advocacy-based counseling to students and collaborate to improve systems and responses in regards to sexual, gender and relationship harm based on a model that identifies the interplay of power, privilege and oppression and seeks to address the roots of interpersonal violence.  The advocates will work with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of colleagues in providing these services and collaborate across many departments.

About the department: One of the 5 sibling departments in the Department of Health & Wellness, Division of Campus Life at Brown University, BWell's mission supports the development of skills for lifelong, holistic health and wellbeing for all Brown students by offering interventions that are both community- and evidence-informed, and rooted in social justice to empower growth and the ability to thrive, prevent health disparities, and respond to emergent needs.

Salary: Grade 11 with a comprehensive benefit package.

Please share broadly with your networks. Thank you again.

With gratitude,

Alana
