Good afternoon SAPC colleagues!

I hope that this email finds you well. For those who I have not met, my name is Jill Dunlap, and I am the senior director for research, policy, and civic engagement at NASPA - and former Women's Center Director!

NASPA is currently seeking undergraduate students for a paid focus group opportunity. If you are willing to send the below to any students you think might be interested, I would very much appreciate it!

We are recruiting between 80 and 100 racially/ethnically, socioeconomically, and geographically diverse undergraduate students who are interested in and have some level of engagement with advancing racial justice at their institution to participate in focus groups. The focus groups will be 90 minutes long and will take place via the RingCentral video conferencing platform. We’ll be conducting eight focus groups with approximately 10 students each between January 24-February 11. To determine student availability and eligibility to participate, we ask that students who are interested in participating complete a brief interest form found here: https://forms.gle/oEA8dw2TTaCAk1sk8

With student consent (as indicated via the interest form) we will be recording and transcribing the focus group conversations. Student names and institution names will not be included in any reports from this research. Selected study participants will receive a $75 electronic Visa gift card for their time. The deadline for interested students to complete the interest form is January 14, after which up to 80 students who are eligible to participate and available during the predetermined time slots will receive a calendar invitation and an email with additional details.

Feel free to share this recruitment form and information with any other students in your networks who might be interested in participating.

For questions, or more information about the study, please contact Jill Dunlap () or Alexa Wesley Chamberlain () at NASPA.

Thank you for your help in recruiting students for this important project!

 Jill
