UC Berkeley is hiring an Associate Director for Survivor Support Services to lead UC Berkeley in crafting, implementing, and evaluating effective and comprehensive response programs to address sexual and relationship, stalking, and sexual harassment; affect related response procedures and practices; and build a culture of survivor support across the campus community.

The candidate must have significant experience with victim/survivor, crisis, and critical incident response; anti-oppression and social justice approaches; and acumen to navigate complex institutions and motivate actions toward social change. Candidates who are multilingual with ability to provide services, trainings, and written correspondence in Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese preferred. This position is based in Berkeley, CA, the department offers flexible work arrangements, all instruction is planned in-person for Spring 2022. About the PATH to Care Center
The PATH to Care Center leads efforts to transform UC Berkeley into a community that is free of sexual violence, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, and stalking through prevention, advocacy, training, and healing. We collaborate with the campus community to make social change with the goals of preventing, intervening in, and responding to harassment and violence, eliminating oppression, and creating the culture and environment we all aspire to and deserve. The PATH to Care Center serves staff, faculty, students, and visitors to the campus. This confidential department is in its 7th year of operation and is comprised of 12+ colleagues, including full-time and part-time staff and a number of graduate and undergraduate student staff members and student leaders. The department is organizationally situated within the Division of Equity & Inclusion and the Office of the Chancellor.
