Hello friends,

I wanted to share with you that the virtual NOVA Campus Advocacy Training (NCAT) is now open and the early bird registration ends October 21. See more information below, and feel free to reach out to me with questions. Here is the registration link in case it doesn’t come through.

NOVA Campus Advocacy Training (NCAT)

Winter 2022

NOVA Campus Advocacy Training (NCAT)

January 5 - February 23, 2022

Every Wednesday, 11:00am - 3:00pm (ET)

For campus-based advocates or community-based advocates providing services to campus students.

Offered through our National Advocacy Leadership Center (NALC), the NOVA Campus Advocacy Training (NCAT) is a 30-hour advanced training academy focused on building participants’ knowledge and skills to prevent and respond to sexual assault, stalking and interpersonal violence in higher education.

Graduates of this unique academy may be eligible to apply for the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP)®’s new “Campus Advocacy Specialist” Credential. The Training will be delivered using a blended-learning approach, which includes eight (8) consecutive weeks of virtual training and self-paced outside assignments designed to foster classroom discussion.

Take advantage of our early bird discount rate by registering before 10/21/2021! Additional discounts are available for NOVA Members.

"Being a part of the NOVA Campus Advocacy Training was extremely helpful. It addressed many of the relevant issues advocates face daily on college campuses, such as crime victim legislation, Title IX, issues surrounding disabled or marginalized students, prevention initiatives and trauma-informed care. Completing the NCAT prompted me to also become a Certified Advocate through the NACP."
