“This was one of the best, if not the best, virtual training I have ever attended. I appreciated the small group size (which I know is not always feasible financially) but it contributes so much to effective discussion. The trainers were incredibly knowledgeable and knew when to step back and let the group share their knowledge and experiences. I learned so many tangible skills to engage boys and men in my community. Thank you!” –Abbey Collins
There are still spots available for our virtual Healthy Masculinity Training Institute (HMTI), but they are filling up fast! Adapted from our three-day in-person training, MCSR is offering an online version of our nationally recognized institute.
HMTI Dates and Registration:
- May 19th – 21st, 2021, Register Here: https://mcsr.org/register/hmti-may
- Optional: Add 2 hours of follow-up Technical Assistance
The HMTI is a chance to engage in the community-building work of primary prevention as well as expand your network of allies and colleagues around the country and the world. Featuring our interactive group exercises and multimedia presentations, the institute demonstrates a pro-social, public health approach to creating cultures free from violence. Furthermore, the HMTI equips participants with the lens and skills to positively construct masculinity and social norms that foster safer communities.
This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886513194-6269) for 7 continuing education contact hours.
