Men Can Stop Rape’s Healthy Masculinity Approach toward primary prevention is about stopping the violence before it starts by replacing unhealthy masculinity’s harmful attitudes, assumptions, and behaviors connected to a "less than" perspective with healthy masculinity’s prosocial norms.
“This institute was fantastic! [The] facilitators always made it feel like a safe space to share personal experiences or opinions. The training modules were informative and have given me confidence to continue living as man and not feel like my values or emotions I express are wrong. I definitely took away many skills and ideas on how I can engage with the youth I currently coach or teach, but also the men and youth in my community in which I work.” Alex Esparza, Westerville (OH) Division of Police
