Unfortunately these are sneaking back in. I got the following update from the Iowa Coalition on another listserv and wanted to share. If any of you hear of anything related to these DIY kits, please let me know. I work for NC DOJ and this is something they are very much advocating against.

I wanted to share an update on one of the companies marketing DIY evidence collection kits. #metoo kits has been rebranded as Leda Health, but it’s the same person with the same idea. Utah is trying to ban DIY kits in their current legislative session, and Leda has shown up in a big way to fight the bill. Liliana Olvera-Arbon () can tell you more if you want the details.
