Good Morning!
In the midst of twin pandemics, addressing sexual violence may feel like an issue so complex that many colleges and universities don’t know where start. The good news is that Culture of Respect has done the work: we’ve broken down the problem into a manageable process and it’s making a significant impact for campuses in the program. The Culture of Respect Collective is an evidence informed, comprehensive public health solution that addresses sexual violence by working collaboratively with leadership and campus stakeholders to make the necessary institutional and cultural changes that foster a systemic, upstream approach to prevention. Participating institutions receive strategic support and technical assistance throughout the process, as well as detailed documentation of campus-initiated changes that support survivors, prevent sexual violence, and communicate that violence is unacceptable.
We at Culture of Respect are excited for the opportunity to invite you to join the upcoming 5th Cohort of the Collective, an ambitious two-year program that brings together institutions of higher education who are dedicated to ending campus sexual violence, and guides them through a rigorous process of self-assessment and targeted organizational change.
Interested in joining? Applications are due November 2nd. Have more questions or want to learn more? Read this blog post and feel free to schedule a time to chat by visiting https://bit.ly/jhenkle
