Reducing Assault on Campus: Technology and Bystander Intervention
With the Fall semester underway, and an increased reliance on technology for interaction and learning, it has become even more important to talk about how technology is useful for keeping college campuses safe.
This conversation is a chance to explore the interaction between technology as a resource and sexual assault prevention with Hannah Goldstein, Program Coordinator at Men Can Stop Rape and Greerlin Thomas, Training and Technical Assistance, Program Manager at Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR).
On October 7th, conversationalists will discuss bystander intervention insights that challenge traditional understandings of how and when bystander intervention occurs, as well as the role UASK (University Assault. Services. Knowledge.) can play as a successful tool for prevention.
Join us on Wednesday, October 7 at 2pm ET by RSVPing here: https://mcsr.org/uaskbi
During the conversation, tweet questions to @mencanstoprape using the hashtag #UASK; or submit them in the comment section on YouTube.
