Dear Campus & Community Colleague,

This is a friendly reminder that the Puzzles workshop and Poster applications are due next Wednesday, 9/30 before midnight. Presenters will have the choice to pre-record their sessions and be available for a live Q&A, or provide their session totally live.  If you intend on submitting a proposal but due to our tight turnaround are unsure you will make the due date, please contact me as I am happy to work with you on a reasonable extension.
Please see details below below:

Chrysalis Network is so excited to announce that the call for workshop & poster applications is live for our 7th Annual Solving the Campus Sexual Assault and Dating Violence Puzzle International Conference held in partnership with the NC State University Counseling Center . This year's conference will be held 100% online using state of the art virtual conferencing software to bring you the best possible experience from the safety of your homes/offices.

This year's conference is entitled:

Solving the Campus Sexual and Dating Violence Puzzle: Navigating Power, Privilege, and Pleasure in a Changing World

Our virtual conference seeks to highlight the relentless, and brave work being done around the world to respond to and prevent sexual and dating violence on college campuses – even in the midst of a pandemic and civil unrest. Our theme, Navigating Power, Privilege, and Pleasure in a Changing World strives to highlight the creativity and lessons learned in navigating our collective work in these times.

While “Puzzles”, as it has come to be known, facilitates learning opportunities in a traditional conference format, it is also a space grounded in building community through relationships and wellness. Past participants regularly share that they feel connected, supported, inspired and rejuvenated. Even though we will be virtual this year, we will do everything possible to continue to offer these opportunities. Please join us this year as we connect in a new way to work together to solve the campus sexual assault & dating violence puzzle.

While registration will not be out until later this week, please see below for this year's conference pricing. A limited number of scholarships will be available based on need. More information coming soon!

Workshop & Poster Proposals due September 30th!
Please consider sharing your wonderful work with us!  Both workshop & poster applications are due by Wednesday September 30, 2020. This year's conference seeks to highlight the relentless and brave work being done around the world to respond to and prevent sexual and dating violence on college campuses – even in the midst of a pandemic and civil unrest. While we are open to proposals that address any form of intervention, research, or programs in these areas, given the state of the world and our immediate needs, any workshop that addresses the topic in the context of a pandemic will be given priority (i.e. radical self-care for professionals doing remote/distant work; sexual assault awareness programs with social distancing or remote requirements; cyber bullying with so many people at home/not seeing each other, etc.). Please see the full application for a list of additional priority areas.

Accepted presenters will receive a discounted registration rate of $50 for up to 2 presenters.

We have a VERY quick turnaround for applications - just a week and a half! We know this is tight, but 2020 has pushed a lot back for us and we want to get you all a quick notification and move quickly on getting our agenda out!

We realize this is super speed and are hopeful this leaves you enough time. If you intend on submitting a proposal but due to our tight turnaround are unsure you will make the due date, please contact me as I am happy to work with you on a reasonable extension.
