Greetings, all!
The Swan Center for Advocacy & Research is proud to once again offer a 90-minute webinar on September 15, 2020, at 2:00pm EST that unpacks ways to recognize and decolonize our current professional practices within the anti-violence movement. In recognizing the growing demand for this topic and the overwhelming response from those in the field, we are providing multiple sessions throughout the rest of this year.
This webinar is aimed at anti-violence professionals who wish to shift from a Cultural Competence lens to one that demands a deeper understanding of the socio-historical impact anti-Black racism has had on minoritized communities and how our field perpetuates these disparities. More information on this training can be found at this link.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Wanda Swan,
Executive Director and Founder
