W.I.S.E. Club, currently in 14 Washington, DC public schools, offers a separate space for elementary, middle and high school girls and young women to explore key learning areas of development such as self-esteem, emotional and social intelligence, leadership, gender-based violence prevention, and healthy relationships. Our WISE members share these lessons with their peers, and in collaboration with their Men of Strength Club brothers, lead member-created Community Strength Projects.

Over the past few weeks many of us have had to make serious adjustments to our lifestyles in the wake of a global pandemic. During this time, we have repeatedly heard the voices of governmental leaders, but it is just as important for us to hear from young
people who are leaders. This conversation will feature Women Inspiring Strength and Empowerment (W.I.S.E.) high school members discussing how they have been practicing self-care, maintaining relationships during social distancing, and handling changes
