Dear Colleagues-
I am writing to share 2 job openings at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) that will be reporting to our new Office of Equity and Inclusion. This new office is located within The Office of the President and reports to the Chief of Staff to the President. The Office of Equity and Inclusion will be responsible for providing, promoting, and coordinating the university's core values of inclusive excellence, equity, and diversity and ensuring university compliance with non-discrimination laws, regulations, and policies. We are currently hiring for a new Title IX Coordinator and a Equity and Inclusion Manager/ Training Manager which is a brand new position at UMBC.
UMBC has spent the past year reflecting on and expanding our campus' efforts around prevention of and response to sexual violence/misconduct, and its impact on campus safety and wellbeing through the Retriever Courage iniatitive.
