Hi folks,

Please join us and/or pass along this special invitation for student affairs executives: Virtually join Dr. Penny Rue and guests to discuss the competing demands of prevention programming.

Centering Student Well-being and Sexual Violence Prevention in a Time of Competing Demands

Sept 18 | 4:00 PM ET | FREE

Student affairs leaders know centering student health and well-being is essential to supporting student success. Yet, prioritizing prevention programs and health services, including those that address sexual violence, is a challenge given the competing demands for student and staff limited time and bandwidth.

Join past NASPA board chair Dr. Penny Rue as she moderates a virtual panel discussion of leaders from student affairs, Title IX, and violence prevention work aimed at unpacking why centering well-being benefits both the individual and the institution and ways in which they’ve fostered institutional innovation, collaboration, and efficiency to make the most of their resources.

This presentation will be introduced by Culture of Respect senior director Allison Tombros Korman, coordinator of the Culture of Respect Collective, our ambitious two-year program that guides campus stakeholders through a rigorous process of self-assessment and targeted organizational change. This year’s Collective cohort will be accepting applications through November 1.
