We used the ARC3, and I highly recommend it for college. It’s free, if you have access to Qualitrics it’s easier to load into the platform (and if you don’t, someone can manually load it into survey monkey or another survey platform), it’s modular so you don’t have to ask all of the questions, it’s validated by researchers in the field, and a bunch of other colleges have used it so that allows for comparisons against other institutions.

 

What you’ll need regardless is someone with the skill set to analyze the data. We partner with some of our research faculty, but that’s the one thing ARC3 doesn’t do for you.

 

Our climate survey results summary is available here for anyone who’s interested in what kind of data we were able to capture (and this summary isn’t all of the possible data analyses).
