Dear Campus and Community Partners - (Sorry for any cross-postings)

This is a friendly reminder to please consider submitting a workshop proposal for this years national conference, Solving the Campus Sexual and Dating Violence Puzzle: Building Communities of Accountability to End Violence in Our Communities. We would love to highlight all your incredible work! Accepted presenters will receive a discounted registration of $75. Submissions due this Friday 9/7 by 11:59pm.

SOOOO many conferences - what makes this one so special?

There are so many wonderful conference opportunities available to us. So what makes this one worth attending? Here are our top 4 reasons:

  1. Offers an affordable national conference experience with a small group feel. Last years 200 attendees came from 26 states, represented 63 different colleges/universities, and 36 community organizations.
  2. Highlights both well-known national experts and local unfamiliar rock stars.
  3. Focuses entirely on campus sexual and dating violence.
  4. Centered on the beauty and importance of relationships and community. Our plentiful and hard-working team strives to create a personalized, connected, supportive, and welcoming conference environment for you.

Register now!

If you aren't planning to submit, but are planning to register - do it now! The conference sells out every year and we want to make sure you secure your spot! Check the conference overview section of the website for a full description! Registration rates below:

$260 – Single registration
$225 – Per person cost for 2+ registrants from the same campus/organization
$125 – Student Rate (Non-NC State University Student)
$100 – NC State University student and employee rate
$75 – Presenter Rate

$335 - Late registration cost for ALL begins November, 26.

Location

While we will again be at NC State University in Raleigh, NC, to accommodate our growing group, this year’s conference will be held in the beautiful and newly renovated Talley Student Center. For returners, the meeting room and breakout rooms are significantly larger than our previous space, and parking will also be closer! Not to mention, a free 5-minute bus ride, or 10-minute walk from the hotel. The ALOFT is $125/night+taxes, and a second hotel option will be added soon that will likely be around $99/night - just a few steps away from the ALOFT.
