Hello Colleagues!

First of all, thank you for the work you do. If you haven’t heard it yet today I want you to know that you are valued and that your work is important. I’m guessing many of us are not hearing that on the regular, and we certainly should be.

 

Now, on to business:

We utilize Sex Signals as one of our prevention offerings – and the program occurs during Welcome Week.

 

If you also use this program (or something similar) could you please share your description provided in your publications?  We want to ensure that students (especially survivors) are aware of the content so they can make an appropriate decision regarding for themselves about whether or not it is safe for them to attend – and yet also want to reinforce that attendance is expected by and large.

 

Additionally, we plan to now offer a separate space in a room near the auditorium for students to step away or be in community with others as an alternative. Our hope is that this space provides a space to process, seek support, chill, breathe, learn about resources on campus and in the community, etc. If you’ve offered something similar could you please share the details?
