The National Resource Center on Domestic Violence is calling for stories from young activists which they plan to share during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month in February.  Please share as appropriate. 

 

Call for Teen Stories: Why I’m an Activist

 

For Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month, NRCDV Radio’s Stories of Transformation podcast station will highlight the power of young activists and the unique contributions of young people in community organizing for social justice.

 

We are seeking your help in circulating this announcement to young activists, advocates, organizers, and social change makers age 12-20. Young activists from traditionally marginalized and oppressed groups, including cis girls of color, non-English speaking, immigrants, Native Americans, Deaf, trans-identified, lesbian, gay, bisexual, non-binary and individuals living with disabilities, are strongly encouraged to submit.

 

Selected stories will be shared nationally as part of the Domestic Violence Awareness Project’s efforts during Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month in February 2018.
