Dear Colleagues,
I hope you are all well, especially in this extremely painful time of what feels to be daily tragedies so close to us. I hope you're having time to breath and take care of yourselves - and most importantly be around those you love.
I am contacting you to encourage you to apply for the newly designed, Associate Director of Interpersonal Violence Services position at the NC State University Women's Center. Some of you may know that I served in this position (when it was an Assistant Director level), and left due to very unhealthy dynamics in the center (which I was very public about). I am so happy to see that the center has new leadership by a colleague I have known for many years who I trust and respect. She is kind, supportive, and just gets it. She has been working hard to build the center back up to the thriving place it once was.
Especially in this time of uncertainty in our work, it is important to feel security in your job. This position has hard funding from the university, and isn't going anywhere. If you are considering a change, please consider applying. The salary is competitive and they are ready for someone to come in and make the IPV services shine!
Please forward on to others who may be interested.
Juliette
