As we draw closer to Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April, I wanted to highlight two tools, our Media Outreach Packet and Social Media Toolkit. Both tools will help to promote your SAAM activities and amplify prevention efforts throughout April.

 

The Media Outreach Packet serves as a template and guide you can utilize and tailor to bolster your organization’s unique SAAM efforts. Our hope is that this packet will help you drive local media interest during SAAM to raise awareness and promote prevention. The packet features helpful content such as:

·         Sample e-blast text

·         News hooks

·         Key messages/talking points

·         Media Outreach 101

·         Tips for Talking to Reporters

·         And more!

 

The Social Media Toolkit offers an overview of how you can get engaged online throughout April. The toolkit covers items such as #SAAM, sample posts, and share graphics.
