We currently have hearings after every investigative report that comes back with a finding of responsible. Our hearing procedure is a mess, but for those of you who have hearings, I’m wondering how you handle the respondent/respondent’s
advisor questioning complainants. We’ve attempted to prevent direct questioning, but it was handled awkwardly and now we’ve basically defaulted to the respondent/advisor being able to question complainants directly. Anything you all have to share on how your institutions handle those interactions is appreciated.
