Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago, the two of us connected to discuss the goals and structures of our statewide campus consortiums. During our conversation, we realized that it would be helpful to develop relationships with other coordinators/managers/directors of campus consortiums that are operated by, sustained by, or that receive substantial administrative support, from state coalitions or state-level agencies. This is because there are both inherent challenges, as well as fantastic opportunities, for state coalitions/agencies to interact with post-secondary institutions through campus consortiums. We suspect that there might be other folks in positions similar to ours, who would want to connect with one another and provide each other with support and guidance.

We are interested in reaching out to anyone who is in a leadership role for a statewide campus consortium, no matter the age, size, or “success” of the consortium. At this point, we are trying to gain some basic information about which states have campus consortiums, and if the people in those consortium leadership roles would be interested in forming a group to provide support and guidance to one another. Here is a link to the survey: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfUG0meu1Pm26qZ1gAq0Eg7RctVQG9eADTvbu4c715QKH2nvw/viewform

If you have colleagues at a state coalition or a state-level agency, or if you know about a statewide campus consortium, please share this message with them and ask them to complete our brief survey, so that we can reach out to them.

Sincerely,

Kitty Kiefer and Mahri Irvine

"In battling all forms of sexual violence, too many men still engage in destructive talk that dehumanizes women, treating them as objects. And too many others, including myself, have failed to stand up and hold ourselves accountable and stop hiding behind so-called ‘Locker Room Talk’. It is time for us to all be better men and to teach our sons to respect women through both our actions and words, no matter where or in what venue they are used."    - Greg Zoeller, Indiana Attorney General
