Rider University seeks an Assistant Director of Student Health Services to function under the supervision of the Director of Student Health Services and within the scope of family nurse practitioner practice as defined by the State of New Jersey. In this role, the Assistant Director will be responsible for the provision of direct care services to Rider University students who present for treatment at the Student Health Center on Lawrenceville campus or the Health Office on the Princeton campus. In addition, the Assistant Director will have administrative responsibilities under the direction of the Director. 


National Board Certification as Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner, DEA Certification, and BLS Certification required. Additional requirements include: ability to work with, relate to, and understand the health care needs of the college student population; experience providing women's healthcare services; strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with students, staff, administration and faculty; and computer proficiency to include word, excel, power point, etc.
