Hi Jessie and all,

I agree that privacy is a big concern -- so I'm hoping that if other folks have model campus SART structures or protocols, they would be willing to share them. :- ) I think it's  important to think about the purpose and goals of a campus SART --  is the purpose of the SART for the team members to openly discuss and work on specific cases? If so, then there is clearly a concern with privacy and confidentiality issues. However, if the purpose of the SART is to focus on generally improving protocols and responses, and improve the wellbeing of the community, then the team members can discuss those issues without delving into specific cases.

Sincerely,
Mahri

Because privacy is an issue near and dear to my heart, I just want to flag that privacy considerations and the different levels of privacy different campus personnel can provide is an issue that should be central to the creation of campus SARTS! - Jessie

I would also be really interested in this information. This year I'll be working with post-secondary schools to create SARTs (either campus SARTs or community SARTs that serve the campuses), and while I know that there is an amazing wealth of resources and guidance for community SARTs, I have not found many resources/guidance documents for campus SARTs.

Sincerely,

Mahri

Hello Everyone,

I am a member of our local  Sexual Assault Response Team and we have been working on agency protocols to create more consistency in the reporting process on sexual violence cases.  Historically our target audience has been law enforcement and other support agencies, but this year we realized the need to include a reporting process for K-12 and higher ed.

Does anyone have anything like this already in place?  If so, could I sneak a peek at it?

Thank you,

Jodi
