Have you looked into the “Escalation” training offered by the One Love Foundation? There are pros and cons. It is structured to be able to be facilitated by trained student leaders. The production quality of the video is excellent, and it very adeptly illustrates power/control in relationships, the red flags, and how relationship abuse can escalate to physical violence/fatality. Discussion questions are good. Down side is that it is heavy and powerful. But it might be worth looking into if you are looking for something new.

I’m looking for some new stuff with Interpersonal Violence Prevention. I’ve done multiple trainings with faculty and staff but quite frankly, I’d like to liven stuff up a bit. Could anyone be willing to share ideas, powerpoints, etc.?
I appreciate it! Email me at

What’s my green dot? Well glad you asked! What you need to know about me is that I believe that violence is not acceptable. Not at all. Not under any circumstances...that we ALL deserve to be safe...that I know what to do to make our campus safer...and that I will step up if I need to....but most of all, you need to know that I EXPECT YOU TO DO THE SAME! No one has to do everything. But everyone has to do SOMETHING!
