Colleagues, we are very excited to announce that UC Berkeley is hiring for 4 new positions with the campus prevention and survivor support program. These positions will report to the Director and will be responsible for implementing essential functions of a new, confidential department focused on preventing and responding to sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner violence. The candidates must have strong multicultural competence, a commitment to and understanding of social justice, and a desire to build relationships and work collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and community organizations.

Prevention Educator – 2 POSITIONS

Prevention educators are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs to promote prevention of sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking and to promote the health, well-being, and a culture of anti-violence among the campus community.

Assistant Director for Survivor Support Services

The Assistant Director of Survivor Support Services (ADS3) is independently responsible for directing the development, implementation, and assessment of comprehensive survivor support services and functions as part of a leadership team to oversee the daily operations of the unit. The ADS3 will lead the development and administration of an effective and comprehensive survivor support program that will address the impact of violence, affect the procedures and practices related to SVSH response, and build a culture of survivor support among the campus community.
