Every once in a while someone says something so right it resonate throughout our work. I know that many of you on this listserv earn these words but rarely hear them:

"You were never alone. Just outnumbered. We're all gonna do our best to make sure you have the numbers behind (and beside) you as you continue this fight."

 

I would have treasured that message no matter what the context but it was more joyful because I had finally gotten to announce:

 

"I have spent the day madly notifying people that Sex Crimes Then and Now is available on Amazon, (as well as Barnes and Noble and Kobo) and I returned to this FB page to find that ... so many of you have spent your time doing the same thing. I can't tell you how much your actions and your words of endorsement mean to me. I wrote the sequel to Sex Crimes and reissued the original with it because this truth is the only way I know how to fight. Not being alone in that war is everything."
