CSA reporting at these events if at all should be anonymous statistics.  This isn't even a blanket rule as not every disclosure indicates a crime, or occurs within clery geography.

Further, there is no title IX reporting required, but there may be a need to respond to remedial and climate concerns generally that are raised.

Still that is not formal reporting. TBTN is a safe space unless administrators are really overzealous and misreading the regs.

So it was brought to my attention today that under Title IX and Clery, any Campus Security Authorities who attend Take Back the Night events on their campuses are still under obligation to report. This would include RA's (who may also be survivors).

I was wondering if anyone else was coming across this from their administration/legal counsel and what they were doing to protect the privacy/confidentiality of survivors during these events? Thank you for your time.
