Colleagues-

I would love to hear from others regarding the practices on your campus in terms of first responders to survivors, especially in instances of immediate reports of assaults that have just occurred. For example- do you have advocates meet survivors after-hours, on-the scene, etc? What role does your Title IX office play in this response? (Are they also called to meet with survivor immediately, after-hours, do they meet only during business hours, etc?) Do you have specialized police officers who are specially trained in trauma who are called? Are there other administrators who always play a role in this first response?

I'd love to hear more about how this process plays out on different campuses, who does what, etc.

Feel free to contact me off-line, as well.

Best,
Jen
