2016 NASPA Strategies Conference: Violence Prevention

The
2016 NASPA Strategies Conference: Violence Prevention call for programs is now open! The conference will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott from Jan. 21 23, 2016. The 2015 conference in National Harbor
was very successful featuring expert presenters and over 100 educational sessions, plenary sessions, mini-institutes, and poster sessions. With your help in January 2016, we¹ll be able to offer an amazing slate of sessions exploring effective strategies in
preventing violence at colleges and universities.
As you prepare to
submit your 2016 program proposal, we first invite you to visit our
call for programs page to take a look at the conference themes and topics this year. Perhaps you would like to share your campus¹ innovative programs and how they were developed and evaluated? Or how about collaborating
with colleagues to facilitate a 2-hour mini-institute to go more in depth on a topic?
Our
program submission guidelines document is also loaded with information on how to craft and submit your proposal so that you have the best opportunity to be selected to present. We even have sample proposals from
years past that can give you an idea of how to write your proposal. Be sure to check out our continuing education credit guidelines to see if your program might meet the professional development needs of some of your colleagues in need of continuing education.
Help the conference committee select this year¹s lineup of programs and contribute your time and expertise by serving as a program reviewer. If you are interested in reviewing programs for the
Violence Prevention Conference, please visit
NASPA¹s Volunteer Central and select Program Reviewer for 2016 NASPA Strategies Conference: Violence Prevention.
While you¹re developing your session proposal,
register before Nov. 6, 2015 for best conference rates and to save on your professional development.
