Hey folks,

My wonderful colleague Leigh-Anne Royster is looking for the following resources.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  You can reply to her , and maybe also to the rest of us as these are great questions;-)

She is seeking scholarly sources that point to:

1) The impact on reporting of a “trusted confidant” related to survivors of IPV and SV.  (ie. are survivors more likely to seek resources if they have a trusted confidant who they know to be a confidential support person?)

AND

2) Evidence of better outcomes connected to court systems that have specific DV/SV training for court officials (judges, attorneys, magistrates, etc…) or separate DV court in general.
