Sexual assault did not double reports increased....bad scare tactic

My campus was recently contacted by the makers of the Good Samaritans app. I watched the video and was really shocked they think this is a good idea. It’s definitely focused on preventing stranger assaults, which is problematic enough, but I can completely see a predator using this to identify and lure in victims or “Good Samaritans” using the app to engage in violence themselves.
